Dr. Salim R. Surani,

Dr. Salim R. Surani is a board-certified pulmonologist, intensivist, and sleep medicine specialist based in Corpus Christi, Texas. With over 35 years in medicine, he serves as Chair of Critical Care Services at Corpus Christi Medical Center and Adjunct Clinical Professor at Texas A&M University Health Science Center.

Dr. Surani is also the Program Director of the Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship in Corpus Christi and has mentored hundreds of physicians and trainees.He holds an MPH from Yale and an MS in Health Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, complementing his clinical expertise with public health and healthcare leadership. His contributions span research, media, nonprofit leadership, and international medical education.

Authored more than 400 publications and have written more than 100 book chapters/books

Dr. Surani has authored over 150 peer-reviewed articles and multiple book chapters. His research interests encompass:
